Job Summary
Boost is seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer (Contractor) to support the design and development of user-facing experiences across its platforms. This role will focus on building scalable design systems, enhancing existing interfaces, and creating new user experiences for strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a user-centered mindset and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, flexible, and visually compelling designs.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reusable UI components to support consistent user experiences across platforms
- Redesign existing product interfaces to improve usability, accessibility, and visual coherence
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to support new product features and enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals
- Translate complex requirements into intuitive and flexible user experiences for diverse user groups
- Apply user-centered design principles and conduct design iterations based on feedback and usability insights
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and are responsive across devices
- Contribute to the long-term UX strategy by designing adaptable solutions that support future scalability and localization
Required Experience
- 5+ years of product design or UX/UI design experience, preferably in externally facing office of the CFO products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating component-based design and user portal development
- Proficiency with design using Figma
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables across phases
Preferred Experience
- Experience designing for financial services or B2B payment platforms
- Familiarity with compliance-driven UX (e.g., PCI-DSS)
- Experience working with enterprise clients and scalable design systems
- Understanding of internationalization and localization in UX design
- Background in designing flexible, modular user experiences for partnerships
