Primary Function/General Purpose Of Position

The Marketing Project Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the intake, execution, and reporting of marketing requests within Bon Secours Mercy Health. This individual will be responsible for overseeing Workfront (or other selected project management software tool or tools), ensuring seamless request processing, and facilitating communication between internal stakeholders and the cross-functional marketing and communications team. Additionally, they will develop and maintain client toolkits and manage the department’s internal intranet channel to communicate marketing ways of working and self-service capabilities.

Essential Job Functions

Project Management & Operations

  • Own and manage the project intake system for our clients, ensuring all marketing requests are received, processed, and executed efficiently.
  • Oversee the end-to-end workflow of marketing requests, which could include requests for support in nomenclature, swag, local sponsorships, advanced website issues, new collateral, content development, event execution and more.
  • Own end-to-end process for new provider marketing working with the Marketing Managers, media, and social teams as appropriate.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of request intake and management.
  • Provide training and support to internal clients on how to use the project management and self-service tools effectively.
  • Supports innovation projects when needed to develop initial marketing operation processes.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and analyze key metrics related to client requests, including project volume, types of requests, resource utilization, and completion times.
  • Generate regular reports to share insights with the marketing leadership team.
  • Use data to identify trends and recommend process optimizations.

Client Toolkit Development & Maintenance

  • Build, update, and distribute client toolkits to support common marketing requests, such as instructions on how to set up and run a local event.
  • Ensure toolkits are easily accessible and updated regularly based on feedback and evolving needs.
  • Use data to identify trends and recommend additional toolkits.

Internal Communications & Intranet Management

  • Own and maintain the internal intranet channel dedicated to marketing.
  • Regularly update content to provide clear guidance on how the department operates, how to make requests, and how to use self-service tools.
  • Develop and then work with associate communications team to enhance awareness and compliance with marketing processes.

Licensing/Certification

Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) (preferred)

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (required)

Work Experience

3+ years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or a related field, preferably within a healthcare or corporate marketing environment.
