About the Role:
We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our automated communications across email, SMS and push.You will play a critical role in delivering timely, personalized, and high-performing messages that support user engagement, retention, and revenue goals.
This role is ideal for someone who loves digging into data, thrives on optimizing experiences, and has a passion for building user journeys that perform at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the transactional and triggered Notifications (email, SMS, push) program end-to-end: strategy, content briefing, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Develop and maintain user journey maps and lifecycle flows that address key stages: onboarding, booking, trip preparation, follow-up, loyalty, and re-engagement.
- Analyze notification performance deeply, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities to drive improvements in open rates, CTRs, conversions, and downstream revenue.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to ensure transactional communications (e.g., booking confirmations, cancellations, payment updates) are timely, accurate, brand-aligned, and optimized for action.
- Implement A/B tests on content, timing, design, and segmentation strategies. Present clear hypotheses and report on results with actionable recommendations.
- Audit existing triggered emails and transactional communications regularly, identifying technical issues, inconsistencies, or opportunities for enhancement.
- Leverage segmentation and personalization tools to deliver increasingly tailored communications based on user behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stage.
- Maintain documentation on flows, triggers, testing plans, and performance metrics for team visibility and future iteration.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years experience in lifecycle, CRM, or email marketing, preferably in a marketplace, e-commerce, or travel industry setting.
- Deep understanding of lifecycle marketing best practices, transactional messaging, and triggered automation flows.
- Proficiency in Iterable and strong knowledge of other Notifications platforms
- Strong analytical skills – comfortable pulling, cleaning, and interpreting data to drive strategic decisions.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).
- Experience running structured A/B tests and communicating insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; bonus points for SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and deliverability best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail, project management skills, and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Passion for boating, travel, or marketplace businesses is a plus!
