UX Designer

This is a fully remote (PST or MST preferred), 6+ month contract position. The role is not open to C2C, C2H, OPT, or Visa consideration. No vendor support of any kind.

About the Role

This individual will complement an existing Sr. UX Designer (focused on consumer insights and testing), by bringing a creative, design-first perspective. The right person will be a creator at heart: strong visual design chops, proficiency with Figma, and a portfolio that demonstrates impactful ecommerce / DTC work.

What You’ll Do

· Quickly spin up mockups, layouts, and banner designs for review by leadership and stakeholders.

· Use Figma to design wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and UI components for the Shopify storefront.

· Collaborate closely with the Sr. UX Designer to balance consumer insights/testing with fast-turnaround creative design.

· Contribute to the look and feel of the new ecommerce experience, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.

· Present design concepts effectively to stakeholders, iterating quickly based on feedback.

· Maintain a focus on conversion-driving, user-friendly ecommerce design.

What You Bring

· 3–5 years of UX/UI design experience, ideally in the ecommerce / DTC space.

· A strong portfolio showcasing impactful DTC/ecommerce design work (banners, landing pages, storefronts, etc.).

· Proficiency with Figma (must be able to build wireframes from scratch).

· Ability to design quickly and beautifully — balancing speed with quality.

· A creative mindset with strong visual design sensibilities; a “doer” who can turn around polished work fast.

· Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, and senior designers.
