Head of Marketing
Blueshift Energy, Inc. Metro Manila, Philippines | Full time | Reports to the President and CEO
About Blueshift
We are a solar energy provider in the Philippines. Our mission is to advance sustainable energy and make it the obvious choice for Filipino homes and businesses.
We are around 57 people. We are growing fast and we run on real numbers, not vibes.
What this job is for
You own Blueshift's marketing strategy from end to end, and you build the team that runs it.
That means three things. You set the short term and long term plan. You execute it through the team we already have by building on what already works. And you hire to fill the gaps so that every channel has exactly one person accountable for its results.
You are not here to run campaigns and report on them. You are here to own a revenue number.
What you will be measured on
These are the results. They are ranked. Number one is the one that matters most. Actual targets are set with the CEO and shared in the final interview.
1. Marketing sourced sales
Hit an aggressive sales number sourced by marketing in year one, then grow it hard in years two and three.
Marketing sourced means the lead came from a channel you own and closed. Not influenced. Sourced.
2. LTV to CAC ratio held at target
Measured on a trailing 12 month basis, and held there while you hit the sales number above. Anyone can buy growth. You have to buy it at a price that works.
3. Double our qualified lead to close conversion rate within six months
Get twice the closed deals out of the leads we already generate. This is a lead quality and handoff problem as much as a volume problem, and it is yours to solve with Sales.
4. Cut our average sales cycle down hard by end of year one
Measured on a trailing 90 day average. Better educated, better qualified leads close faster. That is on marketing.
What you will actually be doing
Right now paid search is the one channel that reliably works for us. Your job is to protect it and then build everything around it.
Who we are looking forEveryone at Blueshift is held to these four

What will make you miserable here
Read this part honestly.
You will not have a huge budget on day one. You will inherit a team that is mid build and you will have to make it work while you fix it. You will be asked for numbers constantly and "brand awareness" is not an acceptable answer. If you need a big agency and a big retainer to do your job, this is not the role.
If you like being hands on, building systems, processes, and your own team, and being measured on outcomes instead of activity, this is a very good role.
Requirements
No degree requirement. We care about what you have delivered, not where you studied.
What we do need to see is evidence. Bring the numbers from your last two roles. Spend, pipeline, conversion, CAC, and what you did to move them.
Compensation and benefits
Base pay plus a performance component tied to the outcomes above
HMO coverage
