We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer colleague for our UK based partner. This is an essential role within the Support and Change team, focused on maintaining the integrity and reliability of software applications. This role plays a crucial part in addressing and solving technical issues that arise, ensuring that customers receive prompt and effective solutions to their problems.
Required technical skills: .NET framework/Core, C#, Vue.js OR React, these are must have reguirements!
What you will be doing on a daily:
- Supporting and maintaining existing systems within the Support and Change department
- Collaborating on Change projects and contributing to the delivery of high-quality bespoke software solutions
- Assisting in understanding and refining requirements with the client and the engineering team
- Supporting the smooth transition of new projects into the Support and Change department by working with the project team
- Using our partners support helpdesk to identify issues or change requests, updating ticket statuses, and communicating updates to clients.
- Investigating support tickets with guidance, including identifying whether the issue is related to data, infrastructure, bugs, or change requests

Skills and requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a Software Developer role
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify the root cause of technical issues and follow appropriate steps to resolve them
- Foundational knowledge of computer software and the ability to follow technical instructions
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Good organisational skills to manage tasks and meet deadlines
- Good debugging and profiling skills, particularly in database-centric systems
