Job Summary
The Designer is responsible for original design concepts as well as implementing existing concepts across a variety of projects including retail POP, logos, various print collateral, and digital communication platforms. The role is responsible for the visual tone, appearance, functionality and overall aesthetics of a client project. Serving as an integral part of the concept process, the designer collaborates with creative partners on all projects to deliver elevated visual solutions. They’ll continue to hone their design skills and aesthetics through the guidance of the Design Director & Head of Design.

Creative Responsibilities
- Develops high-impact design concepts and visual storytelling that enhance creative ideas, engage audiences, and bring brand narratives to life across agency, client, and new business efforts.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop compelling, on-brand designs for campaigns across digital, print, social, and other communication platforms.
- Concepts and executes big ideas, both independently and as part of a team, while ensuring alignment with creative strategy and brand objectives.
- Supports client and business development efforts by translating complex concepts into visually compelling presentations.
- Stays up to date on trends in art, culture, and technology, applying emerging design innovations to create breakthrough work.
- Applies critical thinking skills to develop innovative solutions for a wide range of creative challenges.
- Manages multiple projects from ideation to execution, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to budgets and deadlines.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of branding, identity design, and the development of brand guidelines.
- Embraces creative feedback, continuously refining your craft and contributing to a culture of learning and growth.
- Builds and edits campaign elements of established creative
- Proofs work for typos, deletions and duplications to ensure delivery of error-free files
- Reads specs and takes direction to produce accurate and powerful creative that communicates with clarity
- Tells stories through visuals that resonate, inspire, and push boundaries.
General Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the mission, vision, values, and culture principles of Blue Chip
- Complies with all corporate and departmental standard operating procedures
- Ensures all activities and operations are performed in compliance with governmental laws and regulations.
- Maintains up to date weekly time tracking, per the Agency’s time tracking policy.
Qualifications:
Education, Experience and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
- Portfolio or post-graduate creative school a plus
- 2-5 years’ experience as a production artist, designer for an agency (or equivalent)
- Must possess design experience across a variety of mediums, specifically print, digital, shopper marketing and social media executions
Prior experience in Illustration, digital animation and motion graphics are a plus.
