BLOSSHOLM
Product Designer — Creative Role — Non-technical
Remote · Copenhagen · Full-time
The Opportunity
Blossholm is looking for a creative individual / Product Designer to join us in building our interior brand. We’re especially drawn to candidates from the interior, accessories, and fashion world, but we’re open to designers from other creative fields who share the same instinct for taste, tempo, and creative ambition. What matters most is how you think and what you see.
This is an opportunity to bring creative energy and pace into the interior industry, and help shape a brand that’s in the middle of defining itself. We’re focused on getting new, exciting designs to market, starting with lighting and expanding across multiple categories within the home.
The appreciation for your work here is lasting and the impact is tangible — both for the people who live with it and for shaping the direction the brand goes.
Scope of Work
Your primary focus will be product development — designing lamps and lighting products, and eventually helping us expand into new categories within the home. You’ll explore ceramic patterns, artist collaborations, material combinations, and silhouettes that will define the next chapter of product expansion for Blossholm. Sometimes that means refined and understated, sometimes it means something bolder for a specific collection. The range is part of what makes this role creatively rich.
The way we work is built for speed and volume. You’ll operate within a lean product development system where your role is to generate a high volume of concepts, testing countless combinations of proportions, materials, textures, and shapes, and identify the ones that feel right. You’ll use AI tools as part of your workflow to accelerate idea generation, refine designs, and create product visuals. We’ve built the initial systems and workflows; you’ll learn them quickly and help evolve them further.
In close collaboration with the founder and marketing team, you’ll develop and curate which concepts move forward. From there, designs go to our 3D designer for finalisation and then to our production engineer for technical drawings and manufacturer coordination. You won’t need to worry about the technical production side. Your job is to be the creative engine.
Technical understanding is a plus but not necessary for the system to work — your creative output and taste selection is what matters.
Beyond product design, you’ll be deeply involved in the creative direction of our campaigns and marketing. At Blossholm, product and brand are inseparable. How a product is displayed, styled, and presented to the world is just as important as the design itself. You’ll help shape the visual storytelling around our collections, from campaign concepts to the way we bring products to life across channels.
Looking ahead, our roadmap includes collaborations with creative individuals, partnerships with real-world spaces like cafes and restaurants, and the creation of events and pop-ups that bring the Blossholm universe to life.
What We’re Looking For
Exceptional taste and creative instinct. You know when a design feels right. You understand how proportions, materials, patterns, and shapes come together, and you can navigate thousands of possible combinations to find the ones that matter. Designing is ultimately about composition, and you have an intuitive sense for it.
A design background with creative range. We’re particularly drawn to candidates from fashion design, where the pace, creative rigour, and aesthetic sensibility align closely with how we work. But we’re also open to designers from other disciplines who bring that same energy and eye. You don’t need decades of experience, but you should have developed your taste and know how to put it to work.
A perfectionist eye with high-volume output. You obsess over getting the details right, but you also work fast. We believe the best concepts emerge from generating a high volume of ideas and knowing which ones to pursue. You’re comfortable in that rhythm.
Willingness to work with new tools. Our product development process leverages AI and emerging creative technologies. You don’t need prior experience with these, but you need to be curious, adaptable, and open to learning new ways of working.
Self-motivation and independence. This is a remote-first role. You need to be someone who thrives with autonomy, manages your own time, and holds yourself to a high standard without anyone looking over your shoulder.
A startup mentality. We’re a small team building something new. That means real pressure and real reward. You should be someone who wants to push themselves and do strong, meaningful work.
The Vision
Blossholm takes cues from how fashion houses approach design — seasonal storytelling, brand world-building, and creative ambition — but applies it to products that endure. We create pieces that live in people’s homes and are appreciated for years to come.
We’re in a period where the brand is taking shape and the team around it is being built. The decisions made now will define what Blossholm becomes. We’re looking for people who want to be part of that.
Why Join Blossholm
Real impact, real ownership. At our size, every person shapes the brand. You’ll directly influence what products we put into the world and how the brand evolves.
A team that blends youth and experience. Blossholm is led by young founders alongside seasoned professionals who bring deep expertise in operations, production, and strategy. It’s a mix that keeps things ambitious and grounded at the same time.
A path to leadership. You’ll start working closely with the founder on product development. As we grow, there’s a clear opportunity to lead this function entirely and build your own team.
Work from anywhere. Travel with the team. We’re Copenhagen-based but fully remote. We come together for work sprints in inspiring locations around the world. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit manufacturers in Asia and Europe.
We reward the people who build with us. This is a company where exceptional contribution is recognised, and where the right individuals have the opportunity to grow with the brand in every sense.
Demanding and rewarding work. This isn’t a comfortable, predictable role. It’s intense, fast-paced, and demanding. But if you want to do work that matters and help build something from the ground up, this is the place.
Interested? Send us your portfolio and a short note on why this role speaks to you. We care far more about your taste and creative thinking than a traditional CV.
