BLKSODA is a tech marketing agency that works with brands selling to a global enthusiast audience. We run influencer programs, content production, and platform-side social for brands you already know if you build PCs. We're hiring a Social Media Manager/Specialist who can take ownership of our accounts and help us level up content across the rest of our roster.
About the role
You'll lead day-to-day Instagram and short-form video and support content ideation across our other clients. The current bar for this seat is high: we need someone who actually understands the products, lives in the PC building community, and can generate ideas.
What you'll own
- Instagram strategy and execution — feed, reels, stories, content calendar
- Content ideation: surfacing build trends, product angles, community moments, and meme-able formats that actually resonate with PC enthusiasts
- Short-form video concepts (Reels / TikTok / Shorts) — from idea to brief to working with our video team on execution
- Community engagement: replying to comments, monitoring tags, finding UGC worth amplifying, building relationships with builders and reviewers
- Calendar management: planning ahead with minimal supervision, adjusting for product launches, events, and viral moments
- Cross-account ideation support for other PC component clients in our portfolio
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years managing branded social accounts, ideally in tech, gaming, or hardware. Agency experience is a plus
- Genuine PC enthusiast — you build, follow the space, know the players, and can hold a technical conversation about cases, cooling, and PSUs
- Demonstrated ability to ideate original content, not just execute briefs handed down from above
- Comfortable working independently
- Working English required.
- Active personal presence in the PC / tech / gaming community (your own account, Discord mod, Reddit regular, builder, modder, etc.)
- Short-form video production chops — shooting, editing, scripting Reels/TikToks yourself
- Full-time, open to remote (global) or Taipei-based
