Job Summary:
Bless Payments is looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to lead our efforts in optimizing search visibility, driving organic traffic, and improving overall site performance. You’ll manage site audits, resolve performance issues, and collaborate on high-impact content aligned with keyword and UX best practices. This role demands analytical precision, cross-functional coordination, and a sharp eye on evolving search engine trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy & Execution: Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to boost organic rankings.
- Technical SEO & Optimization: Perform regular site audits to identify crawl, indexing, and performance issues. Resolve canonical conflicts, duplicate content, sitemap errors, and inconsistencies. Optimise site speed and mobile performance, and improve site structure.
- Keyword & Competitor Analysis: Align keyword strategy with business goals and conduct keyword research and mapping for new and existing content, benchmark performance against competitors, and identify content gaps.
- Backlink & Internal Linking: Build and manage outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks; audit and optimise internal linking structures for crawlability and relevance; strengthen domain authority through ethical and scalable link-building practices and strengthen domain authority.
- Content Collaboration: Partner with copywriters and marketing team members to align content with SEO best practices and keyword targeting. Generate content ideas and support production of high-intent articles and landing pages. Optimise title tags, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, and UX elements (navigation, CTAs). Ensure content is structured for readability, engagement, and conversion.
- App Store Optimisation: Drive mobile app visibility and installs through App Store Optimisation (ASO); track and analyse user behaviour with Google Analytics/Firebase to measure installs, engagement, and conversions; and build and retain users by optimising engagement, retention, and loyalty strategies.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report SEO KPIs, including rankings, traffic, CTR, bounce rate, and conversions) using tools like GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on performance trends
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with an agency or in-house (experience in fintech or payments is a plus).
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Solid proficiency with SEO tools (GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (Strapi preferred) and understanding of HTML / CSS and basic JavaScript as it relates to SEO.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct technical SEO audits and deliver actionable insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
