lead UI/UX Designer

Job Summary:

Bless Payments is looking for a talented and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to join its team and be responsible for designing, and developing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and ensuring the consistency of UX throughout all products for Bless Payments money transfer solutions. This is a full-time role reporting to the Chief Technology Officer in Australia and involves close collaboration with the development and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the development team to understand the requirements and user needs
• Lead the process to design and develop intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for Bless Payments money transfer solutions
• Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure that the design meets the user's needs
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the implementation of the design is consistent with the design vision and standards
• Ensure that the design is responsive and optimized for different devices and platforms
• Develop and maintain design guidelines and patterns for consistency and brand identity
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, technologies, and techniques

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design roles, preferably in the fintech or money transfer industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills and experience
• Experience working with development teams, agile methodologies and project tracking tools such as Jira and Trello
• Expertise in user-centric design tools such as Maze, Miro and Figma
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies
• Ability to work with little information to create intuitive UX while diving into the details of UI
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in an international team
