Senior/Lead Robotics and Edge Integration Engineer

At Blautech, we’re looking for a Senior/Lead Robotics and Edge Integration Engineer to design and deliver reliable integrations between robots, embedded devices, and industrial platforms.

Your responsibilities

• Design robotics and edge integration architectures.
• Develop and maintain ROS 2 components and configure DDS communications.
• Integrate robotic and industrial systems using MAVLink, OPC UA, and VDA 5050.
• Develop and deploy applications on embedded Linux, NVIDIA Jetson, and industrial gateways.
• Use NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab for simulation, testing, and robotics development.
• Support NVIDIA Isaac GR00T integration for applicable robotics AI use cases.
• Troubleshoot communication issues, optimize performance, and automate testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, security, and infrastructure teams.
• For Lead-level candidates: guide architecture decisions, review code, and mentor engineers.

What we’re looking for

• Proven hands-on experience in robotics, embedded software, or industrial integration.
• Strong experience with ROS 2, DDS, embedded Linux, and NVIDIA Jetson.
• Practical experience with MAVLink, OPC UA, VDA 5050, and industrial gateways.
• Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, and Isaac GR00T.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting solutions on physical devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and clear documentation.

Work arrangement

• Remote, open to candidates based in Latin America.
• Fully English-speaking work environment; professional fluency in spoken and written English is required.
• Availability to work aligned with U.S. Central Time (CT), following seasonal changes: CDT (UTC-5) during daylight saving time and CST (UTC-6) during standard time.
