About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and strategic UX/UI Designer to enhance the usability and consistency of our enterprise applications, focusing heavily on tools used by our Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Portfolio teams. This role requires deep expertise in structuring complex information environments and building scalable design components. Key responsibilities include developing the Information Architecture, governing the Design System, implementing robust responsive patterns, and leading research & usability testing specifically for Executive, ART, and Team personas.
Responsibilities:
- Information Architecture (IA): Define and evolve the Information Architecture for complex enterprise applications, ensuring intuitive navigation, logical content structure, and efficient task flows for power users.
- Design System Ownership: Lead the creation, maintenance, and adoption of the centralized Design System, including defining component specifications, documentation, and governance guidelines for consistency across all products.
- Responsive Design Implementation: Design and advocate for flexible, scalable responsive patterns that ensure optimal user experiences across various devices and screen sizes used by different organizational levels (Exec, ART, Team).
- User Research & Testing: Plan, execute, and synthesize findings from research and usability testing sessions specifically targeted at understanding the needs, workflows, and pain points of Executive, ART, and Team personas.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design intent and validate concepts with stakeholders.
- Visual Design & UI: Apply strong visual design principles to create high-quality, accessible user interfaces that adhere to brand standards while optimizing for enterprise efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and DevOps Engineers to translate technical requirements and architectural constraints into exceptional user experiences.
- Accessibility: Ensure all designs meet established accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) across all screen sizes and interaction models.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI Design, preferably within an enterprise software, FinTech, or complex B2B environment.
- Extensive practical experience defining and governing a mature, scaled Design System (e.g., using tools like Figma/Sketch libraries).
- Proven track record of designing successful, high-density information architectures for complex software tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting usability testing and synthesizing research findings specifically related to portfolio, program management, or executive reporting personas.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating and deploying responsive design patterns for web-based applications.
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
Skills and Competencies:
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction (HCI) best practices.
- Strong command of visual and interaction design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout hierarchy.
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and integrating accessibility checks into the design workflow.
- Exceptional analytical and research skills with the ability to translate qualitative feedback into actionable design iterations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly articulating design rationale and presenting findings to executive stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment and manage design delivery alongside development sprints.
