We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who excels at creating polished, performant user experiences across both web and mobile platforms using JavaScript/TypeScript, React and React Native. This role requires deep expertise in modern front-end technologies, architectural design principles, and the ability to mentor junior developers. As our Senior Front-End Engineer, you will be responsible for building sophisticated desktop and mobile applications that are scalable, maintainable, and deliver exceptional user experiences.

What you will do

• Architect and develop high-quality applications using React for web and React Native for mobile platforms
• Lead the design and implementation of reusable component libraries and design systems
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver comprehensive solutions
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization strategies
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen the team's technical capabilities
• Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the engineering organization
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices
• Implement automated testing frameworks and strategies to ensure quality and reliability
• Troubleshoot complex issues across different browsers, devices, and operating systems
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack
• Contribute to technical documentation for systems, components, and features
• Work with Product and UX/UI designers to transform design concepts into functional, responsive interfaces
• Identify and address technical debt and architectural limitations
• Participate in the full product development lifecycle from concept to deployment

What you need to be successful

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and React Native
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass/Less
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Context API)
• Proficiency in implementing responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL integration
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web and mobile applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
• Experience with version control systems (primarily Git)
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation practices
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts
• Experience with Agile development methodologies

$110,000 - $130,000 a year

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
