Your Purpose

As our Lead Product Designer, you will be a player-coach with a dual focus: designing for our internal teams and managing a designer who works on our core B2C product. You'll be a hands-on executor, responsible for designing and optimizing our internal Admin tool. Concurrently, you will manage and mentor a junior product designer who is dedicated to the security of our B2C app.

This role is for a data-driven, customer-centered designer who thrives on solving complex operational challenges, balancing a strong execution focus with a passion for mentorship and a strategic understanding of both internal and B2C user needs.

Who You Are

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a data-driven approach to solving complex problems. Experience designing for internal operational tools and B2C products is a significant plus.
• Leadership: Proven experience managing or mentoring designers. You should be passionate about helping others grow their skills and careers.
• Fluency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• Design System Expertise: Proven experience using and contributing to a design system. You should be comfortable working with tokens, components, and design system documentation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with design tools like Figma. Experience using AI as part of the design process to enhance ideation, streamline repetitive tasks, and analyze user data is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex processes into elegant solutions.

Academic Degree: Desired

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.

Desired Skills

• Experience in a specific FinTech and back office systems.
• Experience with animation and micro-interactions.
• Experience managing or creating UX content or with content design.
• Experience managing security features for products and user security.
• Experience supporting internal tools, such as web internal admins.

What You Will Do

• Hands-On Execution (Internal Tools): Act as the primary designer for our internal Admin tool. Map complex workflows, create user flows, design intuitive interfaces that streamline tasks for our operations, compliance, and support teams, and deliver documentation to scale the experience with other teams.
• Mentor and Manage (Security): Manage and mentor a junior product designer. Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and guide their professional development. You will delegate tasks and oversee their projects for our B2C app's security features.
• Drive Strategy: Partner with product managers to define roadmaps for both the internal Admin tool and the B2C app's security features. Translate business goals into actionable design strategies and priorities that directly improve operational efficiency and user trust.
• Lead by Example: Champion best design practices, from initial discovery to final implementation. You will guide your direct report and work with stakeholders to ensure all projects meet high-quality standards.
• Conduct User Research: Independently conduct research with internal users to understand their daily workflows and pain points. You will use these insights to inform design decisions and build solutions that truly meet their needs.
• Contribute to the Design System: Ensure all designs are consistent with our Admin Design System. Proactively contribute new components and patterns to the system that can be leveraged across internal product teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers and engineering teams to deliver a unified and high-quality internal product and a secure external user experience.
