At Birdie.ai, we’re building a feedback analytics platform that helps companies truly understand their customers. Our platform is used to centralize public and private data from multiple client platforms and enables powerful analysis on what customers are saying.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer who can help us scale and evolve our data ingestion layer.
What you’ll do
- Implement connectors for Customer Feedback Platforms using Third Party APIs
- Model and stitch data from multiple sources to help clients build a centralized data platform
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability across ingestion pipelines
- Maintain documentation and assist with client onboarding
- Hire, Train, and mentor other engineers
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (We use GCP, but AWS/Azure experience is relevant)
What we’re looking for
Must-have experience:
- 5+ years professional experience with Golang
- 5+ years working with cloud platforms (We use GCP; AWS/Azure experience is valid)
- 5+ years leading engineering teams
Nice-to-have experience (some combination of):
- Building distributed, client-facing systems (GCP, Postgres, Go, Kubernetes)
- Stream processing (Google Cloud Pub/sub, Kafka, etc)
- Data integrations for ingesting and centralizing data from third-party APIs (Here is a list of some integrations we support)
- Crawling/scraping public data sources
- Automation, ETL, and data processing pipelines (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc)
- CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Github Actions, Terraform)
