Traditionally, BioFirst Group has been a pioneer in natural pollination since 1987, with bumblebee production as its foundation. Over the years, we have grown into a leading company in the biological control of diseases and pests, expanding our portfolio far beyond pollination and now including also an impressive range of biopesticides and biostimulants. In order to give dedicated and tailored focus to this category with high sales potential on high-value crops, the BioWorks division was created early 2024.

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to join the BioWorks Europe team. In this role, you will drive commercial success through the development of value propositions, business cases, pricing strategies, the positioning, and go-to-market plans linked to the products in our portfolio.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, Technical Services, and Finance to deliver data-driven marketing that supports growth in key territories with primary focus on Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Your responsibilities

Developing value propositions

  • Create and communicate clear, compelling, and differentiated value propositions for our products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, technical and customer service to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitive landscape.

Product pricing analysis

  • Analyze pricing strategies to determine optimal pricing for products and services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop pricing models and conduct cost-benefit analysis to ensure profitability and market competitiveness.

Product launches & Go-To-Market Execution

  • Plan and execute successful product launches from concept to market introduction.
  • Develop and manage go-to-market strategies, including promotional plans, sales materials, and training programs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient product rollouts.

Business development

  • Build compelling commercial business cases for new product introductions or market expansion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive revenue and profit growth.
  • Exploring the new product potential, successful planning for positioning including packing, pricing, schemes etc.
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.

Your qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, product management, or business development, preferably in biologicals, crop protection, or agri-inputs market.
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field; having obtainend an MBA is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Affinity with sustainability and innovation in agriculture is highly valued.
