This role will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies that drive the success and growth of our in vivo antibody catalog and custom antibody production services. The Scientific Marketing Manager will own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans, ensuring Bio X Cell’s solutions are effectively differentiated and aligned with the needs of life science researchers worldwide.

This position offers the opportunity to combine a strong scientific background with marketing expertise to influence portfolio strategy, enable commercial teams, and expand Bio X Cell’s reach into new research areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and implement product marketing strategies for existing and new offerings within the Bio X Cell portfolio.

  • Define and communicate clear value propositions that differentiate Bio X Cell across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical markets.

  • Conduct Voice-of-Customer (VOC) studies to identify unmet needs, trends, product positioning, and Bio X Cell growth opportunities.

  • Commercial & Sales Enablement

  • Develop and manage technical marketing collateral including brochures, datasheets, sales reference cards, presentations, case studies, and other field tools that support portfolio visibility and adoption.

  • Create outreach materials such as email campaigns, digital assets, technical white papers, and application notes tailored to researcher personas and market segments.

  • Build and maintain a centralized marketing asset library to ensure Sales, Distributors, and Commercial Teams always have access to current, approved materials.

  • Partner with KOLs, collaborators, and reference accounts to generate scientific marketing assets, testimonials, and use-case content that highlight Bio X Cell’s impact in research.

  • Support Sales, Distributors, and Commercial Teams by providing clear technical messaging, product positioning, and marketing toolkits to ensure consistent communication across regions.

  • Support tradeshows, customer visits, and strategic accounts with aligned messaging, while capturing VOC insights to refine positioning and outreach strategies.

  • Demonstrate digital marketing literacy by collaborating with digital teams on campaign content, website optimization, social media messaging, and marketing automation initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field) strongly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in product marketing or related commercial roles within the life science reagent or research tools industry.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience with antibodies, proteins, assay kits, or other life science reagents; in vivo antibody experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, differentiated marketing messages and materials.
  • Proven success in developing and executing product marketing strategies, including collateral development, campaign support, KOL-driven content, and sales enablement tools (e.g., sales reference cards, brochures, application notes).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance strategic and tactical work in a small-team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing practices, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred).
