The Position

The Director of Marketing reports to the President and will support binx heath’s leadership and commercial initiatives by increasing our customer visibility in the market as well as managing and creating customer facing collateral and materials to support customer adoption in clinical settings.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to managing all social media channels and messaging in conjunction with our internal QA team, drafting and publishing press releases and commercial marketing content, creating co-branding collateral alongside our distribution partners, establishing KPIs for effectiveness of marketing programs with distributors and direct customers and managing our social media presence across multiple platforms. This role will also work directly with our VP, Sales to create and establish targeted initiatives to meet company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, Manage and forecast annual marketing budget.
  • Develop, execute, and lead product strategy & roadmap with a focus on implementing customer-segment specific marketing campaigns aimed at driving brand visibility and achieving commercial sales goals.
  • Communicate the binx Value Proposition to our distribution partners, drive channel management, and coordinate stream of customer facing & adoption updates along with technical product updates.
  • Design, monitor, and evaluate effectiveness of customer incentive and performance rebate programs in partnership with distribution entities.
  • Develop and manage social media channels to increase binx health’s visibility in the market.
  • Development of content and promotional material (i.e., white papers, patient facing collateral, STI Awareness, etc.)
  • Support development and management of internal (binx commercial team) and external (distributor and vertical specific) marketing resources for commercial team.
  • Management of corporate press releases.
  • Oversee analytics and reporting to measure success across marketing campaigns, optimizing approaches to achieve quarterly sales targets and drive in-bound leads.
  • Lead generation & lead qualification.
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts including the maintenance of competitor knowledge databases and routine timely dissemination of competitive information to key internal stakeholders.
  • Management of any marketing focused system interfaces (ex: Salesforce)
  • Help the team to accelerate execution toward a roadmap that is a balanced portfolio of big bets, tactical changes, and core refinements.
  • Develop programs to accelerate customer adoption and cartridge utilization as well as to monitor and facilitate contract compliance.
  • Support commercial and corporate efforts to identify potential trade shows and conferences relevant to building binx awareness.
  • Manage io product related aspects of tradeshows and conference, including positioning, messaging, posters and speakers, strategic conference selection, and attendance. Responsibilities at conferences include, competitive intelligence, KOL relationships and development, and technical io expertise.

Education, Experience And Demonstrated Skills

  • BA/BS in science (biology, chemistry, or related), engineering, business, or related degree. MBA preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years product management, product design, product strategy, or upstream marketing experience.
  • Expertise in customer-facing marketing.
  • Experience supporting both internal commercial teams and external distribution partners.
  • Track record of collaborating with multiple stakeholders across organizations (commercial, operations, quality assurance, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and experience managing input from a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Empathy for user problems, and an ability to refine insights into the right product answer.
  • Product launch experience. IVD product launch experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated medical products environment and quality system (IVD, medical device, pharma/bio-tech, FDA, CE IVD) is advantageous but not required.
  • Have a creative and entrepreneurial spirit and consider yourself a strong operational thinker and a self-starter.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a virtual environment.
  • Attention to detail & well-organized.
  • Team player with a positive, “can do” attitude and approach.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Proficient in the use of Salesforce.com
