As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Bilue, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, reliable, and performant digital solutions to our clients. You'll work closely with high-performing, cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, build robust automation suites, and drive continuous improvement in our QA practices.
This role is ideal for a technically strong QA professional with proven experience working on end-to-end native mobile projects (iOS and Android), from initial development through to release and post-launch support. You’ll be passionate about elevating product quality and helping teams deliver their best work in fast-paced, agile environments.
Experience with Appium, XCUITest, and scripting in Java or Kotlin is highly regarded. Exposure to backend systems alongside mobile testing is a bonus, especially where API reliability and integration are key to the mobile experience.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy: Design and implement test plans and automation strategies that support reliable, scalable mobile and web applications for our clients.
Automation Development: Build, maintain, and expand automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar.
Mobile Platform Coverage: Use native testing tools such as XCUITest for iOS and Espresso for Android to ensure comprehensive automation coverage.
API Testing: Develop and execute automated API tests using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar, ensuring robust integration coverage.
CI/CD Integration: Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to ensure early feedback and faster releases.
Quality Leadership: Champion quality across the entire delivery lifecycle, driving high standards and reducing time-to-release without compromising reliability.
Team Collaboration: Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to clarify requirements and embed quality into team workflows.
Defect Management: Accurately identify, document, and track bugs using Jira or similar tools, supporting teams with clear and actionable feedback.
Device and Environment Management: Maintain test environments and manage cross-platform test coverage across multiple devices and operating systems.
Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior QA team members and actively contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement through documentation and collaboration.
