Join a project that is building a modern, cloud‑native data platform for a large international organization. We are looking for an experienced expert who combines deep technical understanding with strong product ownership skills. In this role, you will help shape the standards, architecture, and governance of the EDP platform.
About the Role
As part of Cloud Native Application Governance (CNAG), you will take responsibility for creating data models, standards, and governance frameworks that streamline and unify how tenants work with data on the platform. This is a strategic and high‑impact role that blends data architecture, product ownership, and consulting.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the data landscape – reviewing tenant applications, mapping data flows and technologies, identifying risks and gaps.
- Building the Data Governance Framework – defining clear rules for ownership, access, classification, and lifecycle of data.
- Establishing Data Quality and Data SLO standards – defining key metrics and monitoring mechanisms.
- Designing the platform’s data architecture – storage, processing, and integration patterns in a cloud‑native environment.
- Creating documentation and architectural patterns – reference architectures, guardrails, best practices.
- Collaborating with stakeholders – leading workshops, presenting concepts, gathering feedback.
- Supporting the platform roadmap – recommending improvements based on industry trends and stakeholder needs.
Technical Experience
- Strong knowledge of data architecture in cloud‑native and distributed environments.
- Proven experience building and implementing Data Governance Frameworks.
- Experience as a Product Owner for platform, DevSecOps, or SDLC‑related products.
- Hands‑on expertise with:
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Kafka, Data Lake/Warehouse, Neo4j, TimescaleDB/InfluxDB, Spark, Airflow or Dagster.
- Understanding of data security (encryption, access control, compliance).
- Ability to guide teams through architectural decisions, including CAP theorem trade-offs.
Communication Skills
- Ability to work confidently with technical and business stakeholders.
- Skill in explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way.
