Overview
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven analytics professional who is as comfortable influencing business leaders as they are working hands-on with data. This role is deeply embedded within our client’s digital marketing organization and serves as a trusted advisor in translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making. The ideal candidate goes beyond reporting by identifying opportunities, solving data gaps, connecting insights across multiple data sources, and proactively guiding stakeholders toward smarter business outcomes. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing position that partners closely with cross-functional teams, including CRO, paid media, product, and digital experience to elevate analytics from measurement to meaningful impact. This role operates at a manager level, requiring strong ownership, proactive leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the digital marketing organization. Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the digital analytics subject matter expert for assigned client engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to digital marketing leaders and stakeholders.
- Define measurement strategies, KPIs, and frameworks aligned to business objectives to ensure meaningful performance evaluation.
- Analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and site effectiveness across multiple data sources, translating findings into clear narratives, actionable recommendations, and measurable optimization opportunities.
- Design, develop, and enhance executive-ready dashboards and automated reporting that integrate web analytics, CRM, sales, and other first-party data into scalable, self-service business insights.
- Lead hypothesis-driven deep-dive analyses and investigative case studies to answer key business questions, uncover root causes, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Partner with the CRO team to design, measure, and analyze A/B tests, ensuring strong test structure and translating results into prioritized optimization opportunities.
- Maintain the integrity and reliability of analytics data by supporting tag management, documentation, UAT, and the investigation and resolution of tracking gaps or data discrepancies.
- Educate and empower cross-functional teams on analytics best practices, measurement frameworks, and data interpretation to elevate data literacy across the organization.
- Manage and prioritize a dynamic analytics work pipeline using Agile delivery practices to plan work, estimate effort, and align stakeholder expectations with business impact and team capacity.
- Identify opportunities to expand analytics support and contribute to proposals, pitches, and solution development to help grow the business.
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of digital analytics experience
- High proficiency with Adobe Analytics
- Proven ability to analyze, structure, and interpret large datasets into clear, actionable business insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (or similar tools) with the ability to manipulate and analyze raw data independently
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment
- Strong data storytelling for executive audiences
- Ability to lead measurement strategy and define success metrics
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau etc.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting A/B and multivariate testing results
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of analytics implementation and data collection, including tag management systems
- Motivated by staying up to date with current trends and emerging analytics technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous business questions
- Ability to work independently and is a motivated self-starter
- Detail-oriented and organized
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in quantitative discipline
- Experience from a marketing/advertising agency or consulting firm
- Experience working in a client environment with multiple external agencies and partners
- Operated in an Agile environment and using Jira or other similar solutions
- Experience as a power user of site optimization tools such as Adobe Target
- Experience with various MarTech platforms and solutions
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
- Experience working with data mining tools such as SQL and Hive
- Experience with offline/online data integration

- A competitive pay range of $110K- $130K (depending on experience)
- 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
