Are you a motivated Marketing Manager with a passion for brand and storytelling who wants to work in a sector that means something and where you can make a genuine impact on the lives of young learners? Our client is a business in the EdTech sector, and they are looking for someone with a fab broad marketing skillset but weighted to digital. Our client is mostly remote with the occasional trip to Birmingham (around once every 6 weeks). The salary for this role is in line with market values and will be discussed at qualification stage but please message me for more info on this. This role will be a mix of integrated campaign planning and management but we need good experience in brand and content messaging development and ideally some PR and lobbying experience or interest.

Our client is a business working in the EdTech sector and is committed to developing innovative technology that accelerates learning for its users at school, college or in the workplace. About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join this well-established business with a small but growing marketing team, a culture of ownership, innovation and trust. Making a big impact with your work will be super important to you, as will having a clear sight of the social benefits your work delivers.

This role will work closely with the Head of Marketing to contribute to the company’s marketing strategy across markets, develop, implement and report on fully integrated campaigns (both digital and traditional channels) that generate demo bookings, build brand awareness with key audiences, and maximise retention. You will have experience across brand, PR, content, email and understand performance marketing. You will be running integrated campaigns that deliver lead gen activity. You will have a way with words and enjoy developing product messaging and helping to elevate a brand through clever content. You will also get involved in PR and lobbying too.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to contribute towards marketing strategy (integrated across content, PR, brand, email)
  • Develop, implement and report on fully integrated campaigns with a focus on digital marketing, PR, thought leadership, email and brand
  • Further develop the company’s use of Salesforce and Pardot to create trackable, automated and engaging campaigns that generate and nurture leads
  • Take a data-driven, test and refine approach to ensure maximum ROI
  • Spotting PR opportunities and helping to position the business as a leader in what they do - any experience in lobbying will be a bonus
  • Email marketing; setting up campaigns, feeding into the content strategy and reporting on the campaign results, looking at making improvements
  • Strong experience in developing brand and storytelling across content such as PR, thought leadership, case studies, email and blogs
  • Get involved with creating content across the different channels mostly in the form of written content
  • Press/PR and lobbying
  • Social media management: developing strategies and understanding what content performs well on each channel
  • Website management

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Experience in Salesforce and Pardot is ideally required BUT if you have all other experience please do still apply
  • Strong experience in CRM management and email marketing
  • An interest and experience in SEO and experience in reporting on paid media campaigns
  • A passion for marketing and a desire to grow with a great company

Experience within the tech or education sectors is desirable but by no means essential. This is a small growing team though, so being a genuine team player, who loves to work collaboratively with others and contribute ideas, is an absolute must.
