The Channel Marketing Manager plays a critical role in shaping how consumers and partners experience the brand across retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels. This position offers the opportunity to influence go-to-market strategy, drive impactful campaigns, and directly support the growth of a premium global audio leader.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Channel Marketing Manager will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across all retailers, e-commerce platforms, resellers, and distributors in the U.S. and Canada. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with product, brand, content, sales, and operations teams, as well as data-driven decision-making and a passion for building successful partner relationships. Beyond the traditional focus on audio, this role will also lead the development and execution of gaming-focused channel strategies, campaigns, and partner programs to strengthen beyerdynamic’s presence within the competitive gaming category.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Channel Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute channel-specific marketing plans for retail, online, and partner networks.
  • Localize global marketing strategies and adapt them for North American retail and online channels.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform planning.
  • Support product launches and promotional initiatives across all distribution channels.
  • Develop gaming-specific channel strategies and go-to-market plans, including tailored promotions, activations, and partner initiatives across retail and e-commerce.

Partner Collaboration & Relationship Management

  • Partner with sales teams and distributors to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners across North America.
  • Provide partners with training, sell-in support, and ongoing enablement resources.
  • Increase sell-through by developing partner-specific promotional and merchandising strategies.
  • Collaborate with gaming-focused retailers, distributors, and e-commerce partners to build programs that increase awareness, engagement, and sell-through in the gaming category.

Brand & Content Development

  • Create and manage marketing materials, including digital assets, brochures, and sales collateral, in collaboration with internal creative teams.
  • Ensure strong and consistent brand representation across all platforms and partner environments.
  • Coordinate messaging and visual standards with content, design, and global marketing teams.
  • Optimize channel content for Amazon, major e-commerce partners, and retailer PDPs.

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Monitor sales performance, campaign results, and ROI across all channels.
  • Analyze data to identify gaps, growth opportunities, and program optimization strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on KPIs, performance trends, and partner effectiveness.
  • Track marketing expenditures and report on budget performance.
  • Leverage insights to refine quarterly channel marketing roadmaps.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 to 8 years of marketing experience, preferably in channel or partner marketing.
  • Demonstrated success driving impactful channel marketing programs.
  • Strong analytical and data-interpretation skills.
  • Experience within the consumer electronics industry, particularly with gaming products or gaming-focused marketing programs, is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience supporting major retailers (e.g., Amazon, Best Buy, Game Stop, Target) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel marketing best practices.
  • Ability to travel when necessary to support partner meetings, tradeshows, and events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA a plus.
