Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr Game Programming Game Designer with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Phaser.js to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a developer with a proven track record in game development, particularly in 2D game engines. As a game developer, you will be responsible for building engaging and high-performance games, optimizing gameplay mechanics, collaborating closely with designers and backend developers, and ensuring cross-platform responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize 2D games using Phaser.js.
• Implement game mechanics, UI, animations, and interactions using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to integrate assets and game logic.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness across different platforms.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code for smooth gameplay.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in game development projects.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Phaser.js (Required).
• Understanding of game physics, animations, and rendering techniques.
• Experience optimizing game performance across devices.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WebGL, Canvas API, or other game engines.
• Knowledge of multiplayer game development.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
