About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) with strong expertise in NodeJS, TypeScript, and AWS. The project involves enhancing our Application Platform to support Machine Learning model deployment, observability, and automation. The role includes integrating existing templates, automating CI/CD pipeline creation, and improving service standardization using AI. Additionally, you will contribute to increasing adoption by measuring productivity and enhancing observability through Datadog. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for automation and cloud-based standardization.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Architect and optimize applications for AWS cloud environments (Lambda, CDK, RDS, OpenSearch, ECS, ALB).
• Work with Docker and networking for containerized deployments and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, utilizing React.js when necessary.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance through best engineering practices.
• Participate in technical decision-making and clearly communicate architectural solutions.
• Follow agile methodologies, working closely with cross-functional teams.

What You Bring to the Team?

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker and networking.
• Deep understanding of AWS services and APIs (experience in CDK, Lambda, RDS, ALB, OpenSearch, ECS is a plus).
• Familiarity with React.js and ability to collaborate on full-stack development.
• Ability to simplify complex systems with a pragmatic approach.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a product-oriented mindset.
• Experience driving technical decisions and communicating complex topics to both engineers and management.
