We’re looking for a collaborative, innovative and consumer-focused sports marketer who can help us lead strategy and implementation across our portfolio of partners, and create long-term, trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
The Manager, Partnership Marketing role is to oversee a portfolio of partnerships, help develop new business with existing clients and support ongoing marketing initiatives and event activations.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Partnership Evaluation: identify potential partnership opportunities and evaluate proposals based on strategic fit, audience alignment, and potential impact.
- Partnership Negotiations: assist with the negotiations of potential partners to establish mutually beneficial partnership agreements, campaigns and T&Cs.
- Relationship Management: cultivate strong relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders. Serve as the main point of contact for partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the partnership and campaign lifecycle.
- Collaborate on Marketing Campaigns: work closely with the marketing teams to integrate partnership initiatives into marketing campaigns and promotions. Develop briefs for Creative and CRM that leverage partnership assets to support business objectives.
- Execute Partnership Campaigns: manage the briefs and execution of partnership marketing campaigns from concept to completion. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of campaign deliverables.
- Collaborate on Brand Activations: assist the partnerships team in the planning and executing of marketing events and brand activations in various markets across Canada.
- Ad Hoc: participate in ad hoc projects and provide support to the team as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- College/University degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration, or other relevant field or relative work experience.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of marketing, sports marketing, or brand sponsorship experience.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian sports and entertainment landscape.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas, negotiate agreements, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative partnership ideas and campaigns.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Nice to Have: experience in the iGaming industry or experience in a highly regulated industry.
