Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative, strategic and execution-focused Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations, this role plays a key part in driving campaign performance, improving marketing efficiency and contributing to overall business growth.

This role focuses on campaign-level strategy and execution, with the expectation of contributing insights and recommendations that inform broader marketing initiatives. This role requires a high level of independence, critical thinking and the ability to translate complex marketing objectives into actionable strategies. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also able to apply B2B marketing experience to new contexts and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role, you will take high-level campaign goals and strategic directions and translate them into clear execution plans. By applying prior campaign learnings across platforms, you will inform new strategies to improve performance and guide future campaign decisions. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations and our Content and Design teams.

Responsibilities:Email Marketing & Automation

  • Design, build and execute email campaigns, automated workflows and nurture sequences in HubSpot, ensuring accuracy in audience segmentation, targeting and deployment.
  • Independently manage end-to-end email execution, including collaborating with copy editors and designers for content requests, QA, scheduling and performance optimization.
  • Interpret performance metrics to inform future campaign strategy, applying insights from prior campaigns and A/B testing to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
  • Maintain email database hygiene, including accurate list management and segmentation.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices.

Digital Campaigns

  • Develop campaign-level paid media strategies across relevant platforms (LinkedIn, Spotify, Meta, Google, etc.) to support brand awareness and lead generation goals.
  • ranslate campaign objectives into audience segmentation, messaging frameworks and channel strategies, applying prior campaign learnings across platforms.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance using analytics tools (in-platform reporting, Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.), making data-driven adjustments to improve results.
  • Ensure campaigns are fully configured prior to launch, including accurate targeting, budget allocation, tracking (UTMs, events, conversions) and alignment with messaging and campaign goals.
  • Identify and test new campaign approaches, formats and platforms, bringing forward recommendations based on performance data and campaign insights.
  • Provide clear, structured reporting on campaign performance, connecting results to marketing goals.
  • Stay current on platform capabilities, digital trends and best practices.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Independently manage multiple projects and deadlines using Asana, ensuring tasks are clearly defined, prioritized and completed on time.
  • Break down complex initiatives into actionable steps and move work forward with minimal direction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure deliverables align with brand standards, campaign goals and overall marketing strategy.
  • Assist in the maintenance and application of the Best Lawyers publicizing guidelines across all digital channels.
  • Provide clear updates on project status, including progress made, outstanding work and any risks or blockers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven ability to apply digital marketing knowledge across platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Google, email marketing platforms, etc.) and campaigns, adapting strategies to new contexts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience executing and optimizing B2B digital marketing campaigns across email and paid media channels.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas, strategies and performance insights clearly, with strong spelling and grammar skills.
  • Experience with HubSpot and LinkedIn Ads is strongly preferred.
  • AP style proficiency is preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with the legal industry is preferred, but not required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in B2B digital marketing, including email marketing and paid campaign management.
