as a python engineer, you will be contributing towards building the next generation of ai models. the team is not looking for a data engineer. ideally, the candidate will have experience with data engineering and have moved into software engineering or a software engineer who has experience working in a heavy data environment. you will play a role in performing a qualitative analysis of data and will also be responsible for developing python scripts to parse and download large datasets from the web in an efficient manner. in addition, you will also write sql queries to further process the data. this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code
participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
troubleshoot and debug software applications
ensure software applications meet quality and performance standards
provide timely solutions to technical issues

pay and benefits
the pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
