Work within and evolve a structured design system.
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to align user needs with business goals.
Share design progress clearly and logically-explaining the journey, not just the destination.
Use research and user testing insights to iterate thoughtfully across multiple concepts and directions.
Identify usability issues, validate solutions, and make strategic UX recommendations.
Help guide team decision-making while working with global cross-functional teams.
Present your thinking and work in a simple, logical, and accessible way-avoiding overcomplication.
(Bonus) Understand the mindset of gamers or be eager to learn about gaming user behavior and hardware contexts.
Required Experience & Skills
7+ years of UX design experience, with 2+ years in a lead or principal role.
Demonstrated ability to show the full arc of a design process, including iterations, dead-ends, and learnings.
Proven track record designing desktop or enterprise-scale applications with technical complexity.
Expertise in user research, usability testing, and developing multi-concept design explorations.
Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design teams.
Fluency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern prototyping tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas without dumbing them down.
Comfortable working in Agile, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Attributes
Experience with hardware/software interfaces, gaming tools, or technical consumer applications.
Familiarity with the unique needs of gaming users, or a clear willingness to learn quickly with support from the team.
Strong portfolio showcasing design process clarity, not just polished results.
