We are looking for a "Data Scientist" with the following qualifications.

Who You Are?

BS degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
Min. 3 years of experience in data science or machine learning engineering
Programming languages; must have solid technical proficiency with Python and SQL
In-depth knowledge of quantitative models, statistical analysis, ML-based models and optimization techniques (must)
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data set
Experience in data cleaning and data preparation processes
Understanding of SQL and distributed data technologies (Hive, Spark)
Familiarity with Linux
Distributed file systems; e.g., Hadoop
Familiarity with generative AI methods and natural language processing (a plus)
Big data platforms and related tools; e.g., Airflow (is a plus)
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal in English

What You Will Do?

Perform data preparation, data analysis, and ensure efficient coding practices
Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation
Design and solve optimization problems to translate the results of ML models and statistical analyses into actionable outcomes
Craft specialized tools tailored to specific needs by leveraging pre-trained large language models
Provide advisory support to line-of-business model owners regarding best practices for compliance guided by policies and industry standards/methods
Demonstrated experience with some or all of the following: machine learning, segmentation, predictive modeling, statistics, experimental design, computational analytics, econometric modeling, data visualization
Identify possible business opportunities and drawbacks considering various stages of customer/product/process lifecycle and using large sets of internal and external data
Perform exploratory data analysis to develop an understanding of data and gauge its accuracy
