Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SDE (Backend / Data Platform) who can design scalable ingestion pipelines, integrate AI/ML models into production systems, and build a SaaS-ready foundation for predictive maintenance. You will focus on backend services, data workflows, and multi-tenant architecture, ensuring robustness and scalability while embedding ML outputs into a chatbot interface.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest sensor streams, logs, and unstructured documentation.
• Develop backend services (Python/Flask) to serve ML outputs into a Next.js/TypeScript frontend.
• Design SaaS-ready, multi-tenant architecture with modular APIs for AI/ML integration.
• Manage deployment, hosting, and scaling across AWS and/or Azure AI Foundry.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to operationalize anomaly detection and diagnosis models.
• Ensure chatbot integration for operator-facing interfaces.

Must-Have Skills

• 4–7 years backend/data engineering experience, with 2+ years in SaaS/multi-tenant platforms.
• Strong backend development in Python (Flask, FastAPI).
• Data engineering: building batch/ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with vector databases (Weaviate, Pinecone, etc.).
• Familiarity with streaming/real-time frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Airflow).
• Cloud infra experience: AWS, Azure AI Foundry (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
• Ability to integrate with Nextjs or React-based frontends.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with OpenVINO for optimized ML serving.
• MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD for ML).
• Basic ML understanding (scikit-learn) to collaborate effectively with ML engineers.
