This is an incredible opportunity to join our Solutions Engineering team. We seek a highly motivated and results-driven Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic Solutions team at beehiiv. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping customers onboard and driving product adoption. You will be responsible for supporting enterprise customers, building migration solutions, spearheading the onboarding experience, and supporting customers with product adoption.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with broad technical curiosity and generalist instincts, comfortable exploring new tools, working with APIs, analyzing data, and supporting customers in solving ambiguous problems.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Product Manager, or in a similar customer-facing technical role
- Technical aptitude and the ability to use, understand, and demonstrate software features and functionalities
- Proficient in utilizing a range of third-party platforms and tools, including but not limited to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Zapier, Make, Stripe, AWS, Google BigQuery, HubSpot, GTM, and DNS configurations
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, basic JavaScript, and the ability to troubleshoot or lightly edit embedded content and email templates
- Comfort working with REST APIs and JSON payloads, whether reading API docs, testing endpoints, or sending requests via tools like Postman or custom scripts
- Familiarity with basic SQL for custom customer reporting
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4 to set up and debug conversion tracking and events
- Confident navigating browser DevTools to inspect elements or debug issues for diagnosing and resolving problems across web and email environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and key stakeholders
- Genuine excitement about scaling a nascent platform
- An ownership mentality
- Experience working at a startup or an email platform; a bigger plus if it was email
- Experience using beehiiv is an even bigger plus
What you will be responsible for:
- Lead diligence for prospective customers to fully understand their existing technology stack, processes, pain points, etc.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of beehiiv’s suite of content tools, tailored to each prospect's specific requirements
- Build, communicate, and execute bespoke migration processes for prospective customers to ensure a seamless transition to using beehiiv
- Lead the entire onboarding process from deal close to actively utilizing beehiiv to its full potential
- Build new or leverage existing solutions and/or integrations to maximize the capabilities of the platform based on the prospect's specific needs and goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to ensure a seamless and successful sales and onboarding process
