We are poised for significant international growth and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to architect, build, and lead our first global commercial organization. This foundational leadership role involves establishing both the sales and marketing functions, driving revenue growth, and building significant market presence across key international territories.
Your Mission: Architecting & Leading Global Commercial Growth:
- Integrated Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a unified international sales and marketing strategy, establishing Beakwise's brand and driving revenue in target regions (Europe, MEA, Asia).
- Build the Commercial Blueprint: Define and implement foundational sales and marketing processes, methodologies (including managing long, complex B2B sales cycles), CRM/Martech strategy, reporting frameworks, and initial sales/marketing playbooks.
- Assemble the Teams: Recruit, onboard, mentor, and lead the initial members of the international sales and marketing functions, setting the standard for performance, collaboration, and culture.
- Drive Key Enterprise Deals: Actively lead critical, high-value sales pursuits while ensuring marketing efforts effectively support the sales pipeline.
- Establish Brand & Market Presence: Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, content strategy, digital marketing initiatives, and brand building activities internationally.
- Sales & Marketing Operations: Define territories, quotas, compensation structures (sales), marketing budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics for both functions, creating a scalable operational foundation.
- Portfolio Expertise: Develop integrated strategies to effectively position and sell a blended portfolio including proprietary software (Beaksurance®), high-value consulting, and partner solutions.
- Market Leadership & Travel: Represent Beakwise internationally at industry events, build strategic alliances, and embrace the extensive global travel required.
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven Commercial Leadership: 7-10+ years of demonstrable success in international B2B enterprise software/SaaS environments, with significant experience leading , ideally including building teams/processes from an early stage.
- Mastery of Long & Complex Sales Cycles: Deep expertise managing multi-stakeholder deals with 6-18+ month timelines.
- B2B Marketing Expertise: Strong track record in developing and executing effective B2B marketing strategies, including digital marketing, lead generation, content marketing, and brand building within the technology sector.
- Process Builder & Strategist: Proven ability to define, document, and implement integrated sales and marketing processes, methodologies, and operational metrics from the ground up.
- Hands-On & Entrepreneurial: A true "builder" mentality; comfortable operating with autonomy, defining structure where needed, and willing to be hands-on in both sales and marketing execution initially. Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- International Sales Acumen: Extensive experience navigating diverse global markets, cultural nuances, and international business practices for both sales and marketing.
- Portfolio Marketing & Sales: Demonstrated ability to articulate and commercialize integrated solutions (software, services, partner offerings).
- Financial Services Background (Highly Preferred): Experience marketing and selling technology solutions to Banks, Insurers, or other Financial Institutions is a major advantage.
- Exceptional Leadership & Communication: Inspiring team builder with outstanding executive presence and communication skills (fluent English required).
- Language Proficiency (Significant Plus): Professional working proficiency in another major European language and/or Arabic is a significant advantage for engaging effectively across our target regions.
