Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain generative AI products leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and support API endpoints.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to understand user requirements, define use cases, and deliver pragmatic technical solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for technical products.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
• Mentor engineering team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and implement new technologies to optimize development efficiency.
• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure robust system performance.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on cultural fit within a collaborative team.
• Deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Proficiency in C#, TypeScript, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including Bedrock and Lambda.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or JIRA for ticket tracking.
• Expertise in React and Next.js for front-end development.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Cohere.
• Knowledge of LangChain, Vercel, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) design patterns.
• Familiarity with data lakehouse retrieval and data chunking strategies.

Nice to Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer with a focus on React and C# or Python development.
