Job Title: Software Development Engineer
Location: Fully Remote (overnight hours (5 pm – 12/1 am PST))
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 5 years of experience in the role.
The ideal resume would have Experience working with Unreal Engine, Familiarity with Azure or other cloud environments, and experience with C++ and/or C# proficiency. Experience using data and observability solutions to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for CI/CD infrastructure, Experience with Perforce source control system, Knowledge of software development best practices, including agile methodologies and continuous integration and deployment, Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis of critical problems, Outstanding communication and writing skills, including ability to ask questions or share information with clarity and brevity in a team-oriented environment, Experience with Jira work item tracking, and Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience working hands-on in DevOps or CI/CD tools, like Jenkins
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and editing scripts to streamline manual operations using languages like PowerShell or Python in a medium or large-scale codebase.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing data solutions to measure and monitor KPIs in technologies like SQL or Azure Data Lake
Responsibilities:
• Execute day-to-day tasks to support the operations of the CI/CD pipelines of AAA games using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Perforce o Routine maintenance such as updating auth tokens for services o Triage and resolve external partner issues o Mitigate issues blocking automation tasks from succeeding
• Monitor and create alerts based on data from the build system
• Drive data-backed improvements by identifying areas of improvement and recommend changes o Monitor and analyze metrics, traces, and logs across all CI/CD systems o Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and postmortems o Combine history and upcoming needs to ensure CI/CD capacity
• Design and implement scripts or similar automation to streamline operations
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
