Pay Range: $35/hr to $38/hr on W2

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and driven marketing professional to join our team and help shape and communicate for Startups messaging, positioning, and brand strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a positive, can-do attitude, and is passionate about storytelling, brand development, and strategic messaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and refinement of messaging frameworks.
• Support storytelling initiatives that elevate the brand narrative across digital, social, and partner channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent voice and tone across all marketing assets.
• Own and drive messaging projects from concept to execution, including briefs, decks, and marketing content.
• Support the creation of founder-facing messaging that resonates with startup audiences and aligns with our strategic goals.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback that inform messaging strategy.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of direct experience in brand strategy, messaging development, and storytelling—preferably in tech or startup ecosystems.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex ideas.
• Ability to distill complex technical or business concepts into clear, persuasive messaging
• Proven ability to craft compelling narratives, including customer success stories, from initial research through to polished content
• Experience in creating Marketing collateral such as one-pagers, case studies, and talk tracks for both internal and external audiences
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and leadership potential.
• Comfortable taking initiative and driving projects forward with minimal oversight.
• Passionate about startups, innovation, and the impact of technology.
• Portfolio of writing samples that showcase storytelling, brand positioning, and Marketing collateral (preferred)

Candidate Requirements:

• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with Job hopping will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain tangible results, less fluff, proving results on projects they completed.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on project execution, time management and collaboration/ team alignment.

1. Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with Writing/communication

2. Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with brain strategy/development.

3. Minimum 3 years’ experience with project ownership/execution.
