Job Description:

We are looking for a FinOps Project Manager to lead cloud financial operations and support cross-functional teams across Finance, Product, Engineering, and Business. This role blends project management, cloud cost optimization, and financial governance to improve visibility, efficiency, and cost accountability.

Responsibilities

• Drive planning and delivery of FinOps initiatives and cloud cost optimization efforts.
• Monitor cloud spend, budgets, usage trends, and anomalies using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Cloudability.
• Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for leadership visibility.
• Lead project planning, sprint ceremonies, backlog management, and Jira/Confluence updates.
• Partner with teams to improve cloud governance, tagging, forecasting, and automation.
• Enable data-driven decision-making through clear communication and structured documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project/program management within FinOps, cloud, or engineering environments.
• Experience with cloud financial tools and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Understanding of AWS services, cost models, and optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Preferred: FinOps or AWS certifications and prior experience supporting FinOps practices.
