Mobile Software Engineer

Description

BBI Logistics is looking for an experienced, product-minded Mobile Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of cross-platform and native development. If you love architecting polished mobile experiences in React Native while diving deep into Swift and Kotlin when the platform demands it, this role will feel like home.

A strong understanding of C# and ASP.NET backend services is ideal, as you’ll collaborate closely with backend teams and occasionally contribute to server-side components.

What You’ll Do.

• Lead the design and development of advanced mobile applications using React Native.
• Build and maintain native modules and features in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate mobile apps with ASP.NET APIs.
• Architect scalable, maintainable, and testable mobile codebases.
• Drive technical decision-making, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and user experience across both platforms.
• Partner with product, design, and QA to deliver features end-to-end.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with React Native (hooks, navigation, animations, native bridging).
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and Kotlin, including building native modules or full native screens.
• Solid understanding of C#, ASP.NET, RESTful APIs, and backend integration patterns.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and app store deployment.
• Strong grasp of mobile architecture patterns like MVVM, Redux-style state management, or Clean Architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, product-focused mindset.

Preferred Skills.

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or finance.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time data systems.
• Exposure to Azure.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI and a strong eye for detail.
