We are seeking a data/software engineer with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in genetic knowledge management, data engineering, and software engineering to develop and maintain our comprehensive genetic knowledgebases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, engineer, and develop curation tools for our proprietary clinical insight knowledgebase as a part of our core data value proposition and integrate this knowledge into our clinical diagnostics workflows.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, a comparable program, or an equivalent qualification, with 3+ years of comprehensive experience in related field.
Experience:
Experience in programming languages.
Experience in data ETL, data management, and data sharing for genomic and clinical applications, especially for next generation sequencing data.
Knowledgeable of database management systems in Microsoft SQL Server.
Understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization.
DevOps experience such as unit testing, CI/CD is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
