Bay Oil is Hiring: Remote Engineering Project Manager

Location: Remote (Global) | Full-Time | Energy & Engineering Sector

Bay oil company, a leader in engineering-driven energy solutions, is looking for a Remote Engineering Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects in the oil, gas, and sustainable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering project planning, resource allocation, and execution from kickoff to delivery
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, compliance, field operations) across time zones
• Manage scope, budgets, and timelines for multiple concurrent projects
• Oversee risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and project change controls
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders, contractors, and clients
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal quality standards, and safety protocols
• Prepare and present project status updates, reports, and technical documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing technical or engineering projects (oil & gas or energy sector preferred)
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and work independently
• Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
• Strong understanding of engineering workflows (EPC, design review, site commissioning, etc.)
• Excellent organizational, budgeting, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (PMP certification is a plus)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in upstream, midstream, or downstream project environments
• Familiarity with international compliance standards (API, ISO, OSHA, etc.)
• Experience managing vendors or third-party contractors in remote settings
