Role Summary
The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for executing high-impact email marketing campaigns and managing all operational aspects of virtual events for both B2B and B2C marketing teams. The role requires expertise in campaign setup, deliverability diagnostics, QA, and event execution using tools such as Zoho Campaigns, HubSpot, Zoom Webinars, and more.
This role is critical for ensuring campaign accuracy, timely deployment, and seamless event delivery, enabling the broader marketing team to scale outreach and engagement efforts across regions and segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Execution
- Deploy newsletters, promotional emails, and automated nurture flows (excluding BDR sequences).
- Use tools like Zoho Campaigns, HubSpot, Email on Acid, BeFree to set up and QA campaigns.
- Manage segmentation, list cleaning (Scrubby.io), and campaign calendars.
Deliverability & Technical Optimization
- Monitor and improve deliverability; run diagnostics using GlockApps, Mail-Tester, Postmaster Tools.
- Understand SPF/DKIM/DMARC frameworks; escalate DNS issues to technical teams.
Reporting & Optimization
- Create dashboards for campaign performance (CTR, open rates, bounces, conversions).
- Share insights and iterate on subject lines, send times, and campaign formats.
- Maintain documentation of learnings and performance trends.
Virtual Event Execution
- Plan and execute webinars, fireside chats, and branded online experiences (e.g., wine tastings).
- Set up Zoom Webinars, registration flows, reminder emails, and day-of logistics.
- Lead post-event follow-up: recording uploads, recap emails, feedback, reporting.
Collaboration & SOP Management
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather campaign requirements and assets.
- Maintain and improve internal SOPs, checklists, intake templates, and playbooks.
- Clarify stakeholder expectations and reduce operational friction through process design.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4-6 years of experience in marketing operations or email campaign execution.
- Strong working knowledge of email marketing and virtual event tools.
- Comfortable with list building, segmentation logic, and data hygiene.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Proactive, self-managed, and process-oriented.
