Position: Senior Software Engineer (AWS Focus)

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep AWS experience to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who is excited to build robust, scalable systems and isn’t afraid to dive into both greenfield development and legacy modernization. Experience with AWS Glue or similar ETL/data tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services.

Analyze and enhance existing software systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in a variety of languages and frameworks.

Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.

5+ years of software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, Go).

Familiarity with SQL and relational database design.

Experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Bonus Points

• Experience with AWS Glue, Step Functions, or other data integration/ETL tools.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Consulting or client-facing experience.
