About This Role
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and creative digital marketing analyst to manage and optimize our Google Business Profile (GBP) listings and Local Services Ads (LSA) across multiple locations. This role plays a key part in helping our business rank locally, generate high-quality leads, stay ahead of competitors, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Role & Responsibilities
Google Business Profile (GBP):
- Create, claim, verify, and manage GBP listings for multiple locations.
- Optimize listings with accurate business information, categories, services, images, hours, and descriptions.
- Generate, schedule, and publish location-specific content including posts, promotions, and updates.
- Monitor and respond to customer reviews professionally and promptly.
- Ensure sales teams are responding to GBP messages and escalate any gaps.
- Track profile performance using Google Insights and provide actionable recommendations.
- Report negative feedback trends to the Customer Experience (CX) team.
- Run A/B tests on content formats, headlines, and CTAs to improve engagement and conversion.
Local Services Ads (LSA)
- Set up and manage LSA accounts including business verification, licenses, service areas, and budget settings.
- Optimize LSA budgets to maximize lead volume while achieving target cost-per-lead (CPL).
- Monitor daily performance and adjust bidding, targeting, or spend based on lead quality.
- Ensure all LSA leads are followed up on quickly by the sales and CX teams.
- Troubleshoot disapprovals or account issues with Google support.
- Collaborate with sales to close the loop on lead source performance and revenue attribution.
- Provide weekly reporting on lead flow, CPL, budget utilization, and conversion metrics.
Content Creation & Optimization
- Create locally relevant content (photos, offers, Q&A, service highlights) to increase visibility.
- Optimize all content using relevant local keywords and strong calls-to-action.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with promotions, service priorities, and brand voice.
Competitive Research
- Conduct ongoing audits of competitors’ GBP and LSA presence.
- Use tools like iSpionage to benchmark ads, content strategy, and keyword tactics.
- Suggest new strategies to gain visibility and outrank competition in local search.
Local SEO & On-Page Optimization
- Conduct keyword research for local targeting and implement across content and landing pages.
- Optimize website meta tags, headings, URLs, and content for local relevance and SEO impact.
- Identify and build local citations, backlinks, and trust signals to improve rankings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales and CX teams to ensure fast and effective follow-up on all leads, reviews, and messages.
- Make recommendations to improve operational workflows based on customer insights and lead behavior.
- Communicate progress and blockers regularly in Slack and project management platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Google Business Profile and Local Services Ads.
- Deep knowledge of local SEO, GBP best practices, and LSA campaign optimization.
- Strong writing and content creation skills for local engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make optimization decisions based on performance.
- Experience managing and optimizing ad budgets for lead quality and ROI.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Must have at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. business hours and attend weekly team check-ins.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Local Brand Manager and Eclincher or like platforms.
- Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Awareness of local search algorithm trends and best practices.
- Background in local link building and technical SEO is a bonus.
- Experience working with U.S.-based teams or agencies preferred.
