Marketing & e-Commerce Manager - BLADEMAX™
We are looking for a unique individual that is willing to base his/her compensation on sales commissions and eventual equity in the company during this phase of the start-up.
BAM Concepts is a startup company that is in the process of launching its new BLADEMAX™ technology, designed to disrupt the razor industry as we know it. This patented technology has many unique sellable facets such as, saving consumers significant money, improving skin health, helping the environment, and adding value to your favorite razor by extending its life by 6x.
We are actively seeking committed, entrepreneurially spirited, deadline-driven Marketing & e-Commerce Manager to join our startup company (BAM Concepts, LLC) focusing on a revolutionary and disruptive product, BLADEMAX™. The manager will complete all tasks assigned by the owners, which will include conducting market research, designing packaging, updating our brand website, and establishing an e-Commerce platform to begin generating sales. The purpose of this role to help the company establish a base of consumers, build advocates on our website and other platforms, begin implementing social media for exposure, and consider working with influencers in the spirit of building a following in the razor industry (shaving). You should be able to take instruction, but also work unsupervised when required.
To be successful a Marketing & e-Commerce Manager, you should be willing to learn about the company and industry as much as possible; be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others. Outstanding managers are problem solvers who know the value of building lasting professional strategies and relationships with stakeholders.
Marketing & e-Commerce Manager’s Responsibilities:
· Be the gatekeeper of deadlines and milestones of all successful roll outs.
· Request and explain budgetary funding needs to BAM Concepts LLC owners as required.
· Proactively present strategic initiatives and/or changes required to optimize marketing and sales success.
· Be the main point of contact for all stakeholders in marketing & sales activities, including, but not limited to:
Ø Facebook / Instagram
Ø MailChimp
Ø Stripe
Ø Google
Ø Wix
Marketing & e-Commerce Manager Requirements:
· Proven track record of revenue generation via customer retention and/or subscription program growth initiatives.
· Strong analytical skills with experience in web analytics tools, A/B testing + CRO, and data-driven decision-making.
· In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics, including search, email, and social media advertising.
· Digital Marketing experience with social media, press releases, and website platforms.
· Experience working with consumer packaged goods brands.
· Lean startup environment is a plus.
· Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Location: Remote, occasional meetings in the Piedmont Triad and/or Charlotte areas of NC.
Compensation: As BAM Concepts LLC is still in a startup stage and continuously fund raising, compensation will be based on the number of hours worked in this phase multiplied by the hourly rate of $50/hr. (timesheet to be kept during the first 2 years). The total amount calculated will then be used to issue Equity in the company based on the same valid criteria as current angel investors have. In other words, the candidate’s contributions will be considered the same as cash funding for participating in an equity investment contract. Additionally, there will be a Tiered Sales Commission Rate offered on all sales generated via the new e-Commerce platform of BLADEMAX™. This tiered rate will guarantee the employee to have a minimum base pay once sales begin.
