Role Overview
We are looking for a Retention Marketing Manager who can independently manage end-to-end customer lifecycle marketing across multiple brands.
This role will focus on building high-performing automation journeys, improving retention, reducing churn, and driving revenue through CRM channels like Email, WhatsApp, and SMS.
The ideal candidate should be both strategic and execution-focused, with strong experience in automation tools, data analysis, and multi-brand management in an agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Automation & Lifecycle Management
- Build and manage end-to-end automation workflows (Welcome, Abandoned Cart, COD Verification, Post-Purchase, Winback, Re-engagement)
- Execute campaigns across Email, WhatsApp, and SMS channels
- Create personalized and segmented customer journeys to improve engagement
2. Multi-Brand Ownership (Agency Setup)
- Independently manage automation and retention strategies for multiple client accounts
- Understand each brand’s customer lifecycle, tone, and business goals
- Ensure timely execution and consistent performance across all brands
3. Retention & Revenue Growth
- Develop strategies to improve customer retention and lifetime value (LTV)
- Identify churn risks and implement re-engagement strategies
- Drive upsell and cross-sell campaigns through CRM channels
4. Tools, Integration & Data Management
- Work with tools like Klaviyo, WebEngage, MoEngage, HubSpot, Mailchimp
- Manage WhatsApp automation tools such as WATI, AiSensy, Kwik Engage
- Integrate CRM with Shopify, payment gateways, and analytics tools (GA4, GTM)
- Ensure proper data flow, tagging, triggers, and event tracking
5. Performance Optimization & Reporting
- Track and optimize key metrics: Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, CRM Revenue
- Conduct A/B testing for content, creatives, and workflows
- Prepare performance reports and share actionable insights
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with creative, performance marketing, and tech teams
- Align campaigns with marketing calendars, offers, and launches
- Contribute to overall growth and retention strategy discussions
Key Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Marketing Automation / Retention / CRM Marketing
- Strong hands-on experience with Email & WhatsApp automation tools
- Experience working with multiple brands (agency experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of customer lifecycle, segmentation, and personalization
- Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Working knowledge of GA4, GTM, and campaign tracking
- Basic understanding of APIs, automation logic, or scripting (JavaScript/Python is a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills
