About the Company
Axis Insurance Services, LLC, a 26 year old nationally recognized professional, management and cyber liability broker is seeking to expand its capabilities with a seasoned financial analyst / data scientist. This individual will report directly to the COO and provide key insight into the company's operations, budgets, finances and future growth. The ideal candidate will have a keen knowledge of current systems, programs and AI integrations to allow for creation of management friendly dashboards, reports and tools to increase productivity and analyze data. Insurance experience is not mandatory but would be considered over other candidates. Actuarial experience would also be helpful.
Responsibilities
- Work with Senior management to design and develop user friendly dashboards and management reports
- Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
- Interpret reports, identifying key matrix and information for management
- Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
- Generate actionable insights for business improvements
- Assess data analytics and provide recommendations and insights on actionable items
- Utilize API to integrate existing systems into reporting mechanisms such as PowerBI or similar software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, etc.)
- At least 3 years' of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
- Fluency in a programming language (Python, C, C++, Java, SQL)
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
- Expertise in Excel, PowerBL, , Copilot, Python or similar software. Knowledge of SQL or other programing software and Agentic AI programming would be very advantageous.

Pay range and compensation package
The salary is commensurate with experience but ranges from $100,000 to $130,000
