Senior Strategy and Marketing Manager

Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual with deep knowledge of the aerospace industry, exceptional problem solving and communication skills and experience across strategy, analytics, marketing and business development to fill a Senior Strategy and Marketing manager role.

This role will provide leadership and support across the organization to align market requirements to the technical developments and define Avio Aero value proposition and strategy development activities.

The Senior Strategy and Marketing manager will be responsible for assessing Avio Aero competitiveness on the market place, identify new business opportunities and additional leverages for competitiveness and will significantly contribute in the execution of the Avio Aero strategy process in cross-functional coordination with all functions and the senior leadership team.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Work on the company Long Term Strategy review, identifying the main topics of analysis and executing the Long Term Strategy process
• Coordinate transversally strategic initiatives in the conception and initial roll-out phase involving engineering, global supply chain and commercial focals plus additional functions as required
• Ensure the communication and reporting both to Avio Aero and GE Aerospace Enterprise Strategy teams
• Understand and analyze Customers CTQs by gathering feedback from Sales Populations on use cases, selection criteria and functionality required
• Maintain and develop tools to enable customer segmentation and targeting and assess the best Value Proposition in terms of price/cost target and alignment with Customer needs
• Benchmarking – identify main industry/products trends and develop competitive profiles and assessments, including competitor size, successes, product offerings, positioning, price structure, etc.
• Marketing requirements – document business case, VOC, value, design and prioritization
• Work with the engineering department in the definition of the multi-generation product plan
• Work with all the involved functions to support investor conferences
• Support business development and inorganic acquisition opportunities

Qualifications/Requirements

• Engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college;
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the aerospace industry with specific focus on propulsion systems;
• Solid experience in the aerospace industry
• At least 2 years in a similar role
• Technical attitude to understand the products trends and developments and capability to support the value proposition creation;
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment;
• International exposure;
• Fluency in Italian and English;
• Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.
