Role Overview
AvidXchange is expanding its development team and currently hiring a Software Engineer II! We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic candidates looking for the challenges and rewards of working in a small startup environment. You will be part of a collaborative development team that develops, tests, deploys and supports AvidXchange ‘s suite of finance products.
What You'll Do
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
3 or more years of experience working on web or mobile applications within the following tech stack:
Web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (experience with modern frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus)
REST-based web services, with experience in Java (preferred) and familiarity with Node.js, .NET, or Python
SQL data storage and reporting, with experience in PostgreSQL (preferred)
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Linux and Bash scripting
Unit and integration testing
Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD)
Experience deploying and maintaining software on IaaS/PaaS platforms (Azure & Docker preferred)
Interest in financial products is a plus
