Senior Data Scientist

About the Project

We are conducting a PoC in demand forecasting with AI/ML on AWS, aiming to significantly improve prediction accuracy and support better planning decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and analyze historical data for modeling.
• Build, test, and validate forecasting models (time series, ML, AutoML).
• Compare forecast outputs against current benchmarks (MAPE/WMAPE).
• Document modeling experiments and results for each sprint.
• Work collaboratively with Data Engineers and Tech Lead.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in statistics, ML, and time series forecasting.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as scikit-learn, Prophet, pandas.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Advanced English.
• Desirable: experience in forecasting, retail, or logistics projects.
